Enamel was a popular decorative technique during the Victorian era. This stunning ring has ridiculously well maintained blue enamel that outlines a stunning cross-hatch pattern peppered with diamonds.

There were a number of ways to create enamel adornment, including cloisonné enamel, champlevé enamel, and painted enamel. These common techniques allowed for intricate patterns and vibrant colors to be incorporated into jewelry designs and this ring embodies exactly that with two exquisite enamel fleur de lis—a floral symbol most often associated with France—on each shank.

Victorian jewelers took inspiration from nature, such as flowers and birds, but the fleur de lis is a more specific flower design and noteworthy in its representation, making this special ring all the more rare. Not to mention a combined 2.00ctw of sparkly diamonds with depth and presence galore. We’re big fans of this sumptuous stunner.
