This chunky, badass ring is one of our coolest Retro finds. The Retro Era took place from about the late 1930’s until the early 1950’s. This time period encompassed all of World War II, a global event that shaped everything it touched, including jewelry. 

Many of the Era’s designs were eye-catching and weighty due to a few big factors. The early part of the period channeled the appeal of bold Hollywood glamor, while the post-war period favored designs that demonstrated abundance and prosperity. The fashionable crowd were celebrating after years of hardship from war and economic struggles.
