Opulence, boldness and craftsmanship were some of the trademarks of Art Deco jewelry. This ring incorporates all of that and brings it to the next level.

One famed Art Deco influencer was Harry Winston who has a storied relationship with emeralds. One day when Harry was a child, his uncle took him to a pawn shop in Los Angeles. There, young Harry perused a display case of costume jewelry where each piece cost 25 cents. Drawn to a lackluster necklace that featured a suspiciously beautiful green stone, Harry bought the piece and showed it to his father, an established jeweler. Stunned, Harry’s father confirmed the stone was actually a real emerald. Harry supposedly sold that necklace a couple of days later–at a 3,000% profit.

This gem-brained genius went on to make a significant mark on the Art Deco era. The designs of the time centered on crisp white metals and gems, such as platinum and diamonds. Pops of color, though, were not at all uncommon, as the tastemakers of the time loved to don bold colors.

This radical 1.21ctw natural Emerald could not be more perfect mounted alongside .92ctw of white diamonds in an incredibly well-crafted ring. The progeny of an era long past that simultaneously embodies everything that makes jewelry eternally amazing.
